The introduction of Part Q of British building regulations has set new benchmarks for how well bi-fold doors resist would-be intruders. While this only currently covers new build properties, compliance is vital if you’re carrying out one of these projects. For this reason, we’re proud to offer the first Part Q PAS 24 compliant solid oak bi-folds available to the UK.
Oak is naturally very strong, and the Icon’s 3 part solid oak construction only improves the stability of the base material. This range also comes pre-glazed with fully compliant laminated double glazed units, meaning that glass panels subjected to intentional damage will remain held in place even when shattered.
The Icon Part Q also benefits from an upgrade from our standard multi-point lock to a PAS 3621 compliant unit, equipped with hooked points for maximum security and peace of mind.
This 3000mm set is fully reversible, meaning it can be installed opening to the left or to the right.
A classic material meets modern construction. Three sections of solid oak create far greater stability than older single-piece constructions
Supplied ready for you to finish with your chosen paint or stain. No sanding or prep required
High security laminated glass and a PAS24 locking system make these doors fully compliant with Part Q of British Building Regulations
