Robin and Sharon found the perfect project; renovating an old Barn to turn it into their dream home - and they did just that! For their new home, they knew they wanted doors with a natural feel, and large glazing panels - but the challenge was matching the colour to the soft green trimming on their windows.
In the end, they went with Horizon Unfinished Bifold doors (2400mm) matching the finishing colour perfectly to the rest of their doors and windows. Their living room transformed into a bright space with irresistible views of the rolling hills that surround their home.
The hard work and energy that went into turning their old barn into a dream home was totally worth it in the end.
Keeping the natural look of the barnhouse was an essential part of the renovation - and that responsibility leant on the doors as well. Using timber made perfect sense for this project.
The view from Robin and Sharon’s living room is perfectly framed through the doors glazing. This detail opens up their space, so that even when they are relaxing on their couch, they can feel connected to the outdoors.
Robin and Sharon’s choice to paint their door an olive green was possible using unfinished timber. This brought out the natural colours surrounding the outside of the house and adds the perfect pop of colour to the stone walls.
